Today I'm going to take a look at the Flowermate V5.0s Pro. When the manufacturer of this portable vaporizer included the word Pro in its name, they certainly knew why they were doing it. Simply put, this is an improved version of the previous Flowermate V5.0 model.
The Flowermate V5.0s Pro vaporizer allows real vaporization and therefore no burning while using herbs. This means that dry herbs will never have a burnt taste or turn to ash. If the vaporization is done correctly, the herbs will turn to brown dust. The unit uses convection heating, which usually guarantees a clean taste. Remember that vaporizing dry herbs avoids the unpleasant effects of smoking. Convenient to use
The unit has a sliding cover at each end. The mouthpiece is hidden under a cover on the underside of the unit. The powdered herb is then simply placed in the ceramic chamber, which is located under the cover on the top of the vaporizer.
Flowermate offers multiple options to do this - using a funnel or using the handy pre-filled chamber, which is a small metal capsule that is smaller than the base chamber. You can't overfill the capsule or chamber, as you could restrict airflow and ruin your vaping experience.
The vaporizer is switched on classically by pressing the power button five times in quick succession. The LCD display alerts you with a short text. This display also shows the actual temperature in the chamber. There are also plus and minus buttons on the device which are used to adjust the temperature.
It is advisable to switch off the device when you have finished using it. Five quick presses of the power button is sufficient to do this. The LCD display will show a warning to turn off the vaporizer. If you forget to switch it off, nothing happens as it will automatically switch itself off after 5 minutes of inactivity. This helps extend the life of the battery and the device itself. When you're done, just remove the mouthpiece and put it back into the chamber located at the bottom of the device. It is ideal to clean the herb chamber afterwards.
Easy-to-read LCD display
As I mentioned, the vaporizer is equipped with an LCD display that is very clear and clearly displays the battery status, the current temperature in the herb chamber and the desired temperature, giving you perfect control over the vaporization process.
Warming up
Flowermate v5.0 works with temperatures from 40 to 230 °C and reaches maximum temperature in seconds. The temperature can be adjusted in just one degree, which is a feature I greatly appreciate, and if other quality vaporizers don't have it, they lose points in my rating.
Versatility
The vaporizer is primarily designed for use with dry herbs. However, the capsule for liquids or waxes makes it a great choice for all kinds of products.
Batteries and charging
Charging the Flowermate V5.0s Pro is the easiest task. As with other modern devices, the classic USB charger supplied with the device is sufficient. However, the difference with conventional devices is that when not in use, the opening for the USB cable is hidden by a sliding cover. The elegant appearance of the vaporizer is therefore not disturbed. A small detail, but it fits perfectly into the whole.
The charging status and progress is displayed on the aforementioned display.
It takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to fully charge the Flowermate V5.0s Pro battery, so it's best to leave the device charging overnight.
Cleaning
You can clean the surface with a damp cloth, but do not immerse the device in water. You can then soak the strainer and mouthpiece separately in alcohol, boiling water or a cleaner such as LimPuro, which by the way I tried recently and the glass and metal strainers looked like new.
As for the heating chamber, the most important thing is to keep it clean, but you can use a cotton swab to clean it. To clean the ceramic chamber it is best to use the brush from the vaporizer accessories.

Vaporizers are available on the market in many different designs, with different prices and performance. When it comes to ease of use, affordability and overall quality performance, the Flowermate V5.0s Pro is among the best.
