What is 8-OH-HHC?

8-hydroxyhexahydrocannabinol, also known as 8-OH-HHC (8-OH-9α-HHC and 8-OH-9β-HHC), is a minor phytocannabinoid and the main metabolite of hexahydrocannabinol (HHC).

Effects of 8-OH-HHC

8-OH-HHC has psychoactive effects that are slightly milder than those of HHC or THC, making it attractive to consumers looking for a mellower experience. Users may experience altered perception, euphoria, a feeling of relaxation or increased appetite. 

Like other cannabinoids, 8-OH-HHC is likely to interact with CB1 and CB2 receptors in the endocannabinoid system, which affects mood, appetite, sleep and pain perception.

When wholesaling synthetic cannabinoids such as 8-OH-HHC, it is crucial to inform your customers of the correct dosage and possible side effects. These include, in the case of 8-OH-HHC, dry mouth, reddened dry eyes, anxiety, dizziness or increased heart rate.
