CBG Products
Cannabigerol (CBG) is one of more than 120 cannabinoid compounds found in hemp plants. During growth, most cannabigerol converts into other cannabinoids, mainly tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or cannabidiol (CBD), remaining only about 1% of CBG in the plant. It is not psychoactive.
Currently, there is a lot of research going on that is dedicated to the use of CBG regarding various health issues. So far, it has been discovered that CBG can be helpful in the treatment of glaucoma as it reduces intraocular pressure, inflammatory bowel diseases, Huntington's disease, or tackling cancer. CBG blocks receptors causing the growth of cancer cells, and, for example, it also works as an appetite stimulator. Furthermore, research focuses on its possible use as an analgesic, in psoriasis therapy and as an antidepressant.
