HHC-O: A new player in the HHC field

Production of HHC-O

HHC-O is hexahydrocannabinol acetate, it is made by adding an acetyl group to HHC. Unlike HHC, it is not found in the cannabis plant and is produced in the laboratory. By changing the chemical structure (adding acetate), the potency of the cannabinoid is enhanced. Some sources claim that HHC-O is 1.5-3 times more potent than regular HHC, but the specific numbers are based on speculation rather than science. How a cannabinoid affects the user is determined by many factors, especially the individual's disposition. However, it is true that HHC-O has stronger effects than HHC.

How does HHC-O work?

The human body naturally produces cannabinoids - endocannabinoids. These compounds work in the endocannabinoid system and help maintain balance in the body (homeostasis) by binding to the cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2. Cannabinoids, including HHC-O, can mimic the function of endocannabinoids and also bind to or interact with CB1 and CB2 receptors.

HHC-O has a strong affinity for the CB1 receptor, hence its psychoactive effects. However, the interaction of HHC-O with the endocannabinoid system also has an effect on other processes in the body - it can induce a state of relaxation, relieve anxiety and stress or improve sleep quality.

The effects of HHC-O are similar to those of HHC, but with greater intensity. The onset is usually slower than with HHC, but the effects last longer. As HHC-O is one of the new cannabinoids, we do not yet have enough information on its effects on the body.

Side effects of HHC-O

As with other cannabis compounds, and especially those with psychoactive properties, HHC-O can cause side effects such as:

  • dry mouth
  • anxiety
  • redness of the eyes
  • insomnia
  • rapid heartbeat
  • dizziness
  • paranoia

Although these effects should subside within a few hours and no other serious side effects have been identified so far, the responsible retailer should always warn the customer of the possible risks.

HHC-O: What products can you offer customers?

A large number of products with the cannabinoid HHC-O are already available on the market. Particularly popular with consumers are disposable vape pens containing up to 96% HHC-O distillate, with HHC-O cartridges and liquids also available in a variety of flavours. HHC-O cartridges also contain a mixture of other cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, HHC, or HHC-P, promising enhanced potency (entourage effect).

HHC-O flowers from popular strains are also popular. HHC-O flowers come from technical hemp, which contains a higher amount of CBD and the legal limit of THC, and are infused with HHC-O distillate.

HHC-O White Label/Bulk

We also offer HHC-O white label/bulk products. For example, you can purchase a 7% HHC-O distillate concentrate from us to create your own HHC-O e-liquid for customers under your original brand name.

We also offer HHC-O oils in bulk, in concentrations from 5% to 50% HHC-O. The oil is already prepared in bottles that you can order from 25 pcs up to 10,000 pcs. The oils offered are made from HHC-O concentrate and come standard in MCT coconut carrier oil. The latter, due to its unique properties, can increase the bioavailability of HHC-O. It is also possible to supply the concentrate in another carrier oil according to your requirements. We offer the oils in a natural unflavored version as well as in several flavors.

Summary

HHC-O is a newly discovered cannabinoid that is produced by modifying HHC. It might appeal especially to customers who are already familiar with HHC and would like to try something new. Although HHC-O is not one of the most widely used or well-known cannabinoids, there is already a wide range of HHC-O available. It includes HHC-O vape pens, cartridges, distillates, liquids, HHC-O oils and extracts. If you want to include HHC-O in your range, choose reliable suppliers and manufacturers who will provide you with quality and safe products.
